On this project I worked closely with the designer, Andrew Tsang, to develop the new front-end of a coding bootcamp website that gets thousands of visitors each month. AB testing showed the converstion rates on the newly built front-end to be significantly higher. The website is built using Ruby on Rails and interactions and designs are highly custom and interactive.

The biggest challenge on this project was coding the highly customized, responsive design, as the details and little interactions were highly important in fully bringing the design to life. However, it was also the most fun aspect of the project, especially since Andrew designed his vision with full confidence that whatever he designed I could develop, including a very thourough but user friendly applicaion form. The project was large and full of challenging interactions, but hard work, iteration, and collaboration we worked through it.

Having a design background myself, the designer and I spoke the same language and iterated over the website together until we were highly satisfied with its quality. To this day it's still one of my favourite websites.

Go give it a whirl at lighthouselabs.ca.
